Famous Guacamole

I grew up in Tucson, Arizona. Like an hour from Mexico. So Mexican food is just in my blood. I learned to make guacamole because all of the mexican restaurants in Tucson offer table side guacamole. Where they make your guacamole right in front of you. Oh my word is it good!! So here ya go. Even if you’re not a fan of avacados.. this will rock your world.

4 avacados
1/4 cup minced fresh cilantro
the juice of 1 lime
1 jalapeno pepper, ribs and seeds removed unless you like things HOT, minced
1-2 roma tomatoes, chopped
1/4 cup minced onion
kosher salt, to taste

Chop avacados. Mash them if you’d like to desired consistency. Add lime juice, jalapeno, tomatoes, onion, cilantro and kosher salt. Stir to combine.

  1. Awesome blog, Laura! Your husband did a great job!!! I will try your Guacamole for sure! I might try your pot pie someday, but after making Pioneer Woman’s version, I don’t know that my family will ever let me make a different one! I will use your pie crust for it though… hers has shortening. 🙂 I’m sorry this is so long. It’s really fun typing white text on black LOL! Fun fun fun! Can you husband add a spot where your followers can follow you?
