  1. Hi Laura! I think I should get extra points for being the first to enter! I think if I won I’d have to choose breakfast items, even for dinner I just LOVE breakfast! But don’t think I wouldn’t throw in a dessert too! 😉

  2. Here’s my comment… I wish I lived in Portland to be able to be a real entrant in this contest! What a great idea 🙂

  3. I would want the Chicken Pot Pie for sure!!! I have been craving it since I saw it, but I am too scared to make it 🙂

Also, thank you soooo much for the books and movies. I put them in my classroom Library! Thank you!!

  4. Oh my goodness! What a cool contest. I would definitely choose the enchiladas. The three cheese chicken enchilada. And guacamole of course. For dessert it’s a toss up between the Triple Chocolate Mousse Cake and the Layered Turtle Cheesecake.
    Hmmm…now I’m extremely hungry. 🙂

  5. I would like the soft lime chicken tacos with your guacamole….yumyumyum. If dessert is included I would go for some of that triple chocolate mousse cake! Kiss the cook 🙂

  6. I think if I could choose anything, it would be the lasagna, I love lasagna, so how could I resist a title like “the worlds best…”! If dessert is included, I would choose either the chocolate mousse, or the turtle cheesecake, wow, those look amazing!! 🙂

  7. Since I am miles away I know of a very special person that would love and appreiciate the lime chicken tacos with lots of Guacamole because if you gave her only only serving, she would eat all of it..I know cuz I had to fight her for it…..she lives in Sherwood hmmmm close to you. She is your biggest fan..All rise for Mrs.J Weiss lol

  8. How to decide… maybe the Thai crunch salad? How about if I win you could surprise me with whatever you feel like cooking?? 🙂

    This is a fantastic contest – I hope I hope I hope I win!

  9. I’m feeling a little on the stalked side for sure 🙂 Who are we kiding? You know I’m loving all this attention!!

  10. Choose? How could I possibly choose? My philosophy is that if I didn’t cook it, it always tastes better. I think I would be so excited to have a full dinner that I didn’t cook I don’t think I would care — they all sound so good anyway.

  11. OK…I am going multi-cultural here…I would love to start our with the Southwest Egg Rolls and then move on to the California Pizza Kitchen Thai Crunch Salad and then for the sweet ending…the Layered Turtle Cheesecake…NUMMO!!!

I am an equal opportunity chow hound:) ehhehehe

  12. Mac & cheese for sure!! The turtle cheesecake looks devine as well!

I’m also following you on Facebook and have become a Google friend connection.

May I also make a request/suggestion? I would love for you to share any vegetarian recipes that you may have.

  13. What great recipes you have on your blog! I think the Four Cheese Stuffed Shells and the Triple Chocolate Mousse Cake sound absolutely scrumptious!! Yum..hungry now!!

  14. My entry is for our friend Nancy (who recently lost her dad). I am sure she would love anything you make! I might have to follow you over and sneak a couple of bites though! 🙂 You know how I love your cooking!

I didn’t even realize you had a blog. WOW! Amazing food!!!!! How do you even choose? It all looks sooooooo yummy!!! Maybe the stuffed shells or cheese enchiladas! Gotta have that triple mouse cake for desert!!! lol (= Thanks for the chance to win! Have a GREAT day!

  16. Okay, I have officially “liked” you on FB, so I get a second entry right? Just read what Jillian would pick and that’s sounding pretty darn good too!!

  17. I would LOVE cheeseburgers! It’s my favorite “cheat” food item. Yum!!!
I also follow you on Facebook-does this count as two entries? 🙂

  18. Hmmm … tough choice.

I’d let you surprise me with eitherThai crunch salad (kinda makes me salivate just reading the recipe), shrimp scampi (love shrimp), or Southwest egg rolls (Mexican food is always tasty).

And for dessert, assuming it’s included, you could surprise me with key lime bars (love fruity desserts!) or layered turtle cheesecake (never make cheesecake, but love it a lot) .

  19. Hey Laura! Awesome contest!!! I am already jealous of the winner!!! I am tempted by the Thai Crunch salad but since it would clearly take ALL DAY to make, I’m going to go with the Enchilada Suiza Casserole as my dream come true. The yummy sounding Famous Guacamole sounds soooooo good and wow… How does one decide between Key Lime Bars and Chocolate-Oatmeal Almost-Candy Bars?

Technical stuff – Here’s my comment, I follow you on Facebook, Twitter AND Google Connect. 🙂

I need to remember to check your blog daily… I had some serious catching up to do!

  20. I would definatly go for the chicken piccata…too good to pass up. I would also to the gaucamole with corn chips on the side and then the blueberry/lemon muffins….man my mouth is watering…

  21. I would go for the chicken piccata for sure with the famous guacmole and corn chips on the side . Blueberry/lemon muffins sound good to finish it….oh man…my mouth is watering!

  22. If I win, can I take the meal on June 9th (Wednesday) to a friend of mine who just had a baby? She’s another great cook and I’m afraid she will be terrible under-impressed with any of my recipes. It all looks fabulous, so I would chose anything that travels well + the layered turtle cheesecake.

I’ll most likely use one of your recipes anyway:-)

  23. I’d take the Choc-Oat Candybars, Cinna Rolls, Turtle Cheesecake, and Heath Cookies. Oh wait, I guess I should have something not a dessert…mmm Chicken Piccata looks good! BTW, I like how you are putting pics with the posts, I eat with my eyes ya know!

  24. aussie chicken and CPK chopped salad, almost candy bars….too hard to choose, what a delightful website!

  25. I think I should win as I’ve been w/out an oven for 2 wks now and have another week to go bf it gets fixed. I’ve had to be quite creative w/my crockpot and stovetop. Gee, what meal would I choose?! Whatever is easiest for Laura as u have 3 kiddos & hubby to look out 4. It all looks yummy!!! I have u listed as one of my “*favorties” on my computer so I can immediately go to your website to see what’s new. We r all partial to Mexian food. I love Mexican food! Whoever wins, congrats! What a great gift from Laura. If u ever do a workshop for girls (like 12yrs. old), Hannah would b signing up as she loves to cook & bake. 🙂

  26. I hope I win!!! Yum

I would love your chicken pot pie….YUMMMY

I am following you on twitter, facebook and google friend.

  27. Although I’d love anything, my mouth watered the most with the Chicken pot pie, chocolate mousse cake, cinnamon rolls….. ok, your entire blog makes me drool! I also have a certain prego mom in mind whom I’d like to bless with your amazing meal, but I’ll be happy for whoever wins- as long as I get to come over & lick their plates clean! Sorry. Ugly moment

Laura, you are such an inspiration. What a wonderful thing you are doing to bless those around you. May the Lord give back to you ten-fold!!

  28. I’m stalking, I mean following you on Google & Facebook, and at church too. Does church count? 😉

  29. Oh my Gosh, I would love to have just about anything, but as I peruse the recipes, I would love to try the Florentine Mac and Cheese with chicken sausage meatballs , along with a salad (mmmmm… maybe the broccoli salad) and finished up with the light and yummy looking Key lime bars.

  30. Oh Laura,
    I am hungry now.

My family is leaving for Lake Tahoe so if I do win..the food would just be for me (and maybe Christian if he’s lucky).

So I would choose some Famous Guacamole, California Pizza Kitchen Chopped Salad… YUM!

    YOU ROCK.

  31. Oh man, I really could eat any of these! I think for Donny’s sake I would choose the Chicken Enchilladas… the ones you made at the beach weekend. And if dessert is in there, the chocolate mousse cake!!!
    Thanks Laura! How fun!

  32. I say..Chef’s choice. My only request is that Luke must come when you deliver!!!
