Jessie’s Heath Cookies

Jessie is a good friend of mine and these are her famous cookies. They are SO, SO, SO good!!! I like to make a batch of dough, roll them into balls, put on a baking sheet and pop them in the freezer. When they are frozen, I transfer to a ziplock and then you can pop as many in the oven as you want. Fresh cookies!! It’s a great tip for any favorite cookie recipe. Then you just increase the baking time.

3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup unsalted butter
1 egg
2 1/4 cups flour
1 t baking soda
1/2 t salt
1 package Heath toffee bits
1/2 package milk chocolate chips

Heat oven to 375. Mix sugars, butter and egg. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt. Stir in toffee bits and chocolate chips. Roll dough into 1.5″ balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes or so. Centers will be soft.
